What Is Regenerative Braking?

Trying both is the best way to find your preference. Set High for a week of city commuting and notice how rarely you reach for the brake pedal, then switch to Standard for a highway run and enjoy the smoother, more relaxed coasting. Most owners quickly develop a feel for which mode suits which journey.
Why It Is Not True One-Pedal Driving
This is the point most worth clearing up, because it is widely misunderstood. Some electric cars offer a true one-pedal mode that brings the vehicle all the way to a stop and holds it, without touching the brake.
The Dolphin does not do this. Even in the High setting, the regenerative effect slows the car strongly but eases off at low speed and will not bring it to a complete stop on its own. You always use the brake pedal for the final stop.

- Travel light: Excess weight increases energy use, so clear out what you do not need
- Never coast in neutral: The manual specifically advises against coasting in neutral gear
